Carolina Pride held its first Car Wash Academy training class for Self-Serve Operators
The focus of this two day workshop was self-serve car wash operation and maintenance. The class dug deep into every aspect of self-serve equipment; learning about control panels, fluid systems, circulating pumps, air compressors, water softeners and spot free rinse systems, meters and timers, bill, coin, and credit card acceptors, vacuum systems, water heaters, weep mizers, bay equipment, and much much more.
This hands-on class was held by Carolina Pride trainers, some of which have been in the car wash industry for over 50 years. Eager car wash owners and operators were able to experience hands-on maintenance operations and swap tips and techniques from other attendees. It didn’t matter if you were an experienced car wash owner or just starting one up, everyone came out of the class with a better understanding of self-serve equipment and how to apply the learned techniques to their car wash.
